So.. as you can see.. I am playing my first Official Album Show on the 28th Jan 2012 at the Lowry in Salford Quays! Crazy! The last time i was there, I was watching Beverley Knight who i love and now i’m playing there!!
I have wrItten all of my songs and spent what feels so long getting all ready so i really truly hope you guys love it. I am currently in leicester at the moment, doing 3 gigs in 3 days, then i’m back to Manchester doing a songwriting session with GRAMMY AWARD WINNING writer! so amazing! After this i am flying straight to LA, SO EXCITING! iIt’s all moving fast right now.. but i feel good:-) On a more lovely note… me and my mum had an amazing sausage and mash dinner today while i am up north!! amazing!!! Miss white was very happy… so all is a little crazy right now but all good. To those who you who have purchased a ticket to my album show thank you from the bottom of my heart. My music is my everything and your support i never ever take for granted. You keep me loving all i do. Thank you so much guys… also you fashionistas out there will love the show as my new stylist on board is crazzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyy! We make all our own individual looks and i’m sure you guys will be shocked!!! LOVE!
My loves this last two weeks were my gigs in Wythenshawe, having backstage laughs and wine with my friend Duncan and all the talent and my gig for Christian Aid in London Town. It was so beautiful, your support was amazing guys. As always also thank you to my favourite dress designers who believed in my dream from the start – Pia Michi. Love you so much!! Hey guys!! Wooooooo my first official blog how cool is this?! I’m currently writing this on the way to Scotland to play a gig tonight. It’s my third gig this week and i am feeling soooooo tired but when the music starts its onnnnnnnn! haha! Its been a crazy week though, as i’ve been recording and writing in the studio all week and then had lots of gigs too!! Do any of you guys sing or do music? if so you will know how tough it can be sometimes in terms of keeping yourself well and fighting fit, otherwise the voice doesn’t have all its levels if you get me? so plenty of steaming in a bowl for me tonight 
So, the news is we have MY FIRST OFFICIAL ALBUM GIG COMING VERY SOON! This will be announced very shortly so keep online dudes as its gonna be announced available for tickets soon! I am so excited to finally show you all the finished material of the upcoming album which is due 2012!!! I have been recording for so long in London… but it will all be worth it.. my journey is never as it seems. It has been tough i can’t lie, so many incredible ups and downs, but I have always remained true to who i am musically and am proud of this. As most of you know i am a writer, so all my songs are written by me.. no co writes of a few lyrics claiming to be ‘a writer’. It is me..completely me.
I also want to hear you all, send in your entries of you showing me musically, singing, rapping anything that you can do!! For years i gigged in tiny places and felt no one heard me for a long, long time so for those of you who feel the same, now is your chance and you may get the chance to sing with me at my next BiG gig in January.
So… always writing, singing, but also always having fun… the song of the moment i am in love with is Jasmine Sullivan’s In love with another Man, I’m loving shopping in Betsey Johnson.. I’m loving to rock my coral lipstick but excited to turn to the plum side.. and of course loving your messages everyday inspiring me and reminding me to remain who i am and do the music i love.
